5 is symbolic of God’s favor. I believe God’s favor is upon Rvelation Church.
Isaiah 61:1-3 says,
“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed. He has sent me to tell those who mourn that the time of the Lord’s favor has come, and with it, the day of God’s anger against their enemies. To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the Lord has planted for his own glory.”
The Lord wants to display you unto this world. This is a prophetic word from Isaiah. The Lord wants to display His glory upon this world through you. Are you ready? Get ready. God will do something special in your heart today. Why? Because you are a planting. One of the prophetic symbols of a tree is a man. Youare like a tree that was planted but when you accepted Jesus Christ, you blossomed. Some blossom but some stay like bonsai plants. You want to be like oak trees which are huge in size.
In Isaiah 61:1 says “The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed.” This prophecy of Isaiah for the Lord Jesus Christ the Messiah, the Anointed One- Christ means the Anointed One. In Luke 4, the Lord basically claimed the fulfillment of the scripture upon His life in Nazareth in the synagogue on that day. He read it and claimed the scripture has come to pass. He said it Himself. He is the second person of God. On the day that you were born again, the Holy Spirit made Hishome in our hearts.
Colosians 1:27 says “For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory.” This is a mystery, which is Christ in you. You are only flesh but God is living in your bodies. The same God who created the entire universe lives in you because He loves you. For God so loved the world that He gave us His Only Begotten Son. You will never die! The day that you accepted Him as your Lord and Savior, you have the hope and the glory. And when He returns, He will transform you into a glorified body that will live forever. You have hope because you are children of God. That is why it is very important to understand the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
Did God do something in your life? Then you have to show it to the world. Wherever you are, that is your ministry. The anointing of the Holy Spirit is not only for preaching the gospel because God wants to show the world that the preaching of the gospel has power. God wants the world to know that He is alive. In Mark 16: 15-18, “And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages. They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.” Do you believe? Is it enough for you to believe? The devil believes that there is a God. So what is the difference? The devil has no faith. You do.
Faith began the day you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It has to grow. How? Matthew 22:37. “Jesus replied, “You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.” Fall in love with Jesus. Do you spend time with God? You are created for a relationship with Him. Not religion. Religion is once a week. Love is everyday. Not only on Sundays. The Bible says we are the bride, He is the bridegroom. It is a perfect picture of love. Do you think your relationship will last if you only love on Sundays? Spend time with God everyday, worship, pray, meditate and apply the word in your life and then your faith will be developed. If you pray everyday, the Holy Spirit will be activated and the anointing in you will be stirred up. And when it is stirred up, Mark 16:15-18 says, “Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages. They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.”
There is a big difference when the people of this world see signs and miracles. This is not only for pastors but for all Christians. You have the anointing. Spend time with God so the Holy Spirit in you will be stirred up. If ypu are filled with the Holy Spirit, even if you do not say anything, people will know.
“But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil,” says 1 John 3:8. Jesus came to destroy the work of the devil. But where is God? In you! So who will banish the demons now? You! Matthew 12:28 says “But if I am casting out demons by the Spirit of God, then the Kingdom of God has arrived among you.” This means that the kingdom of God came to earth and one sign is that the devil will not be able to stand it. You have the authority to drive out demons in the name of Jesus Christ! Mark 16:17 says “These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages.” The name of Jesus is not magic. It has power if the character of Jesus manifests themselves in you. Luke 10:19 reiterates this by saying, “Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you.” You should use the gifts of the Holy Spirit in these situations. Matthew 16:19 says, “And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven.” You have the power because of the anointing of the Holy Spirit in you. He has given you the keys to the kingdom. Matthew 17:19- 20 says, “Afterward the disciples asked Jesus privately, “Why couldn’t we cast out that demon? “You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.” However, some demons can only be driven out through prayer and fasting.
Why am I sharing all of these things with you? Our Lord God Jesus Christ is coming very soon. You must manifest His signs, wonders and miracles so that the world will believe that the Lord you serve is alive. As the Lord pours out His favor upon every aspect of your life, I believe this is the manifestation of salvation, healing, deliverance, restoration and acceleration. And as the Lord brings you into your destiny, this is the sign of the enemy’s defeat. He is executing vengeance for you against the work of the evil one.
Psalm 65:11 says, “You crown the year with a bountiful harvest; even the hard pathways overflow with abundance.” The Lord will be pouring out His favor upon this church. He has anointed you to preach. Signs and wonders are tools. The important thing is for you to bring non-believers to God. But first, you have to fall in love with God. Spend time with God everyday. Make a change. Fall in love with Jesus. He will change you. He will use you. He will bless you so you can be a blessing to others. You must manifest the Kingdom of God. And it starts with your relationship with Him.
When you are always spending time with God, you become Christlike. Seek first His kingdom and the blessings will run after you. Our true blessing is God Himself. If you love God, the morivation of everything in life is your love for God. You will know what the blessings are for. They are just benefits of the Kingdom. Who do you think is really in love and thirsty, God or man? It is God! Why? Because of his great live for us, He gave His Son so that you can spend time with Him throughout eternity. His love is so great. He is coming soon.
