Kingdom Culture: His Kingdom is Advancing

By Pastora Monique Lopez Ong

When you talk about kingdoms, there should be a king with authority over his constituents. And the Kongdom of Heaven is not something that you experience when you die. It has to be seen from heaven on earth. Many people are too caught up within the confines of the church that they do not see God’s movement. The world is changing and revival is birthing in every country. When you talk about dominion and how the kingdom is advancing, all sicknesses are healed when the kingdom of God is at hand. With the economic crisis being felt everywhere, blessings abound. The kingdom of God is not of this world. It is so supernatural, but when your eyes are opened, you will know that it is at hand. God fulfills His promises and there is true peace at hand. Matthew 6:33 says, “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.” Before you focus on all the things that can be added unto you, you should first seek God’s kingdom.

How do you know that the Kingdom is advancing? You have to be excited because you are a part of it.

God is big and victorious. The devil is small and defeated! How many say God is big but still worry about their finances? Your God is not big enough then! The enemy has been defeated 200 years ago. 1John 4:4 says, “But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.” You are from the Lord, therefore, you have already overcome. God is big and victorious not just because of what He did on the cross. Jesus not only died on the cross; He rose again! There is a resurrection power. Because Jesus lives in you, you also have that power because Jesus lives in you. You have to change the way you think. Some give up with a little conflict in life, but this is the greatest opportunity for Jesus to display His glory.

Focus on the good things God is doing and live in continuous hope and joy. What you focus on becomes magnified. When you focus on your problem, it eats you up! Instead, look for God in the middle of your problem and you will have peace. Pray and minister from the victory of Christ over darkness. The situation may seem bleak and dark but God always has a solution. Focus on the good things God is doing. If you keep on focusing on the tiny victories, it builds momentum and multiplies. When you declare God’s victory all the time, you silence the voice of the enemy. Romans 15:13 says, “I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.” There is more.

Believe and live it out. Matthew 6:9-10 says, ‭ “Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.” You have to believe that the kingdom has already come and that God’s will will happen. You are to partner with God and live out His commands. Go out and preach His word. Do not wait for your pastor! Jesus is in you and you are victorious. What are you waiting for? Partner with the King for natural and supernatural ways to establish mercy, justice and righteousness. Bring in the change by carrying His presence wherever you go. Seek heavenly answers for earthly problems and take practical risks in faith.

Every believer is in full time ministry. 1 Peter 2:9 says, “But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.” Every believer is a full time minister. Sacred and secular has no difference. God will use you everywhere. Who told you that you can only work in church? Romans 12:1 says, “And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.” Even if you are just a simple housewife, you are a full time minister of God. Nobody can stop you. You can be a blessing anywhere you go because you represent Jesus. Use your gifts and excel in them in order to best serve society and its leaders so you may prosper. The best way to prosper is to use all your gifts and talents for the glory of God. You are made of Jesus.

Daniel 1:16-21 says, “So after that, the attendant fed them only vegetables instead of the food and wine provided for the others. God gave these four young men an unusual aptitude for understanding every aspect of literature and wisdom. And God gave Daniel the special ability to interpret the meanings of visions and dreams. When the training period ordered by the king was completed, the chief of staff brought all the young men to King Nebuchadnezzar. The king talked with them, and no one impressed him as much as Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. So they entered the royal service. Whenever the king consulted them in any matter requiring wisdom and balanced judgment, he found them ten times more capable than any of the magicians and enchanters in his entire kingdom. Daniel remained in the royal service until the first year of the reign of King Cyrus.” When you want to obey God, He will make you prosper. While the kingdom is advancing, there will be people who will not like what you will do. They will persecute you. John 15:19-21 says, “The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you. Do you remember what I told you? ‘A slave is not greater than the master.’ Since they persecuted me, naturally they will persecute you. And if they had listened to me, they would listen to you. They will do all this to you because of me, for they have rejected the one who sent me.” Do not be bothered and offended when people are not yet ready to receive the Kingdom. One day, when they understand, the Kingdom has already come.
