This advent season, excitement should fill our hearts—not for the gifts or the Christmas rush but for the coming again of Jesus.
Some of us may have grown tired of waiting, some may feel the Lord is unreachable, and some may feel that they don’t need the Lord in their lives. But the truth is God is always with us. He is always the one who calls us, trying to reach us but sometimes we are resistant to His presence. We are so important to Him that even if we drift away from Him he will always reach for us.
God is right here right now, and we can experience His presence by asking for it, focusing, and considering Him on our daily and hourly life. If we draw near to Him, He will draw near to us, which is why through worshiping, reading His Word and in our prayers, we can experience His presence.
God is never silent, He is never a snob, He is personally interested in each of us and wants us to feel His presence because, in His presence, we see miracles, blessings, and breakthroughs. If we only let Him move upon us, we can experience these. We may not know how but if we obey and let Him in our lives, He will be the one to show us His great miracles.
