Many of us have dreamt of living in a kingdom even once in our lifetime. We have dreams on becoming kings and queens, princes or princesses during our childhood. What if I tell you that it is possible to live in a Kingdom? A kingdom that existed since the beginning of time. A Kingdom that has never been shaken and moved. The kingdom of God.

When we talk about the kingdom of the Lord, one question pops in our heads, “What are we going to do to experience living in the Kingdom of the Lord?” During the Sunday service at Revelation City Church, Pastor Peter Aguila reminded everyone of the simple steps on how we will be able to experience kingdom living.

According to the story of Nicodemus in the book of John, the Lord stated that no one can enter his kingdom unless they are born again. What does the Lord meant when he say that someone must be born-again? Even a scholar like Nicodemus had a hard time coming up an answer to the Lord’s explanation. The Lord then answered that one must be born of water and spirit. The very first step to living in the Kingdom of the Lord is to begin anew. It is to accept and put our faith to the Lord’s only son granting us eternal life in the Kingdom.

After all these things, the Lord said that we should not worry about our lives anymore. We must first seek the Lord’s kingdom and His righteousness and all the things we needed shall be given unto us. We should not worry about what we will eat or drink for the Lord has given us His kingdom, surely he can give us everything that we needed in life.

The Lord has given us every promise that He can offer but after all of these, we must also check if our faith is really with the Lord. We will experience trials sent by the enemy but as long as our faith is in the Lord, we will never go wrong and we will never be defeated. We should also stop lingering to earthly possessions and practices for they do not exist in the Kingdom of the Lord. The devil only blinded the minds of unbelievers so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ.

Lastly, Pastor Aguila explained to everyone that the word of God should be a constant reminder that the Lord has always been with us. No matter what challenges by the devil is sent to us, we should not crumble for the Lord is our aide. We must cling to His words because according to book of John, in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Pastor Aguila’s strong message is what the Lord always wanted to tell us all. Let us all put our life in His name, hold on to our faith and he can grant us eternal life in His heavenly Kingdom.
